Watchtower Trail It is one of the best-known routes in Garopaba, connecting to Vigia Beach to the north corner of Silveira Beach The trail runs along the rocky coastline south of the town's historic center. Extending for 3.6 km, the linear trail can be hiked in approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, assuming a leisurely pace with stops for rest and enjoying the scenery. 

The trail features important natural and cultural attractions. Along the way, you'll find natural pools, stretches of coastal vegetation, rock formations, and areas of great historical significance. The Vigia Trail is often confused with the... Casqueiro Trail, this being a specific section of the route, where lithic workshops and the sambaqui of are located Casqueiro Point, traces left by pre-colonial peoples who inhabited the region. Due to its cultural importance, this segment has become popularly associated with the entire trail, although it represents only a part of the Vigia Trail. 

Classified as a moderately difficult trail, the Vigia Trail features uneven terrain, typical characteristics of rocky coastal trails. The elevation varies between 0 and 67 meters above sea level, and accessibility is limited, making it recommended for visitors with basic physical fitness and appropriate footwear. The route is ideal for those who wish to experience nature, adventure, and culture in a single outing in Garopaba.
