Located in Historic Center of Garopaba, The House of Culture It's a space full of life, art, and good stories.

The building houses the Tourist Information Center – CAT, one temporary exhibition gallery, O fishermen's communal ranch, The Municipal Public Library, in addition to whale bones It is panels that tell the story of the city and recall the time when Garopaba's economy depended on whaling. It's a true immersion in the local culture, complete with curiosities, memories, and an enchanting view of... boat cove, which can be enjoyed from the terrace.

The House of Culture also opens its doors to art, hosting exhibitions by local and regional artists that give a special vibrancy to the space. With each new exhibition — which runs for about fifteen days — visitors have the chance to discover different perspectives on the city and its way of life.
